Disciple James log: Out of control - that was Jesus essential nature, and that of his disciples.

Jesus was out of control. The essential nature of Jesus was that he decided to be out of control.

That what would be in control was creator, God, the great I am, his humanity, his limbic system, his mammalian brain, his Holy Spirit.

And this is the spiritual characteristic of a disciple on the theory of that disciples essential nature and essential understanding is the same is that of jesus. He said, paraphrase, be one in me as I am one with the father. I and the father and are one, as you and I are one. paraphrase.

And no, no, no, this does not mean, oh I feel like Jesus, so I'm like Jesus. bullshit. bullshit.  bullshit.

From the perspective of the disciple ... what fricking disciple of Michael Jordan wants to feel like Michael Jordan!? No, they want to watch every move of Michael Jordan, for hours and hours and hours, And then more hours and hours and hours, each move receiving hours of examination to become Mike LIKE Michael Jordan!!!

Oh I feel like Jesus Christ, oh I love Jesus Christ. That's fine.

But it is not discipleship.

It may lead to one being saved by being good, that feeling. It may lead one to being righteous, that amorphous feeling. And, in Jesus categorization, those are all salvation!!!

But it does not equate to being a disciple.

A disciple. I now call you friends Jesus said because I have told you everything that the father has told me. I have told you everything that the father has told me. I have told you everything that the father has told me.

He did NOT say I call you friends because you love me! He did not call you friends because you liked me! I do not call you friends because you have positive feelings about me!!! I call you friends because I have told you everything that the father has told me, the presumption being that you listened, you studied, you mastered, you understood, you practiced, and you shared.
