Disciple James log: Jesus, an outcast, no family, save one.

 

Jesus kin are the one in a million that have not been stripped from his father's Kingdom by empire.

Jesus recognized that in the Kingdom of Empire he was an outcast, an alien. Even from his biological family, his kin, his community.

And someone called to discipleship, is called to more fully join Jesus and his family, or to begin to do so. Because they too feel alien in empire; outcast.

But it is never a matter of joining a community. That is just remain in Empire no matter what and how it is labeled.

The only alternative to Empire is to join Jesus, the man, his words and example. Though virtually all that believe that they love Jesus think the opposite.
