I'm reverting to child of God. Thanks, Jesus.

Warning: Everything but what moves you to discipleship of Jesus is destructive of your health. jesianity.info/search/label/Jesus

Progress update, Jesus is leading me and I am finally following to the joyful abundant life that I always thought was there to be had. And I should say he's leading me back to the life that I guess I knew was there because I had it as a young child before the culture got its hooks into me.

Unless you convert and become like a little child, you cannot be my disciple. A little child. A little child is creator-made, right? Unless somehow in the womb, culture intrudes, which is possible, chemically or auditory. But pretty much the child born is... Created by God, is a child of God.

And then we go about fixing that, changing that.

Some of us have a recollection of what life felt like before we were fixed, before wonder and awe and amazement, and watching and listening, and seeing and hearing, were replaced by the notions we are given by man. The eyes we are given by man, meaning culture. It is a time of unity with everything. Oneness with everything. We understand ourselves as being part of everything. And how could a child of God be created in any other way, to feel any other way, to think and experience any other way?

The gospel says: To them he gave power to become the children of God. Not born of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but God.

Well, that's what my life is feeling like now. Not sometimes, as in the last 20 years, or really throughout my 70 years, but approaching all of the time.

The infant can't try to please man, the will of man, as the gospel speaks of it. And can't even try to be of the will of their flesh, because they have an insufficiently developed cerebral cortex.

Sure, they respond to physical impulses, but not beyond that. And their inherent impulse is to be the best they can be, not in terms of the ideas of man, but in terms of the inbuilt, impulses of their humanity, our humanity being the peace, and the piece, of God within us. They're little growth machines under God's direction, and they derive infinite joy and contentment from that.

And hundreds and thousands of hours of contemplating Jesus through the gospels, what's written in the gospels about who he was as a person, and more importantly, what he speaks, and how he behaves in the gospels, and trying to, to think, who was he, how did he think, what was on his mind...?

And isn't that what we do when we love someone? When we love them, we want to know them. And I love Jesus.

And more importantly, I love what he was. He was a healing force in the world. And I want to be as much of that as possible. And I want to have the way that feels.

So of course, I study every phrase, every sentence, to try and achieve that.

And a gigantic breakthrough for me is as the understanding of try, is coming central.

James, you want to BE the best possible disciple, but you can't control that.

What you can control is what you try to be, every breath. because then you would be the best possible healing Force you could be, under the direction of jesus.

And that is so freeing, it is so empowering, it eliminates the distractions of the head and flesh, which the infant doesn't have the ability to be distracted by the head and flesh until we teach them, and maybe hormones and maybe growth. But largely we teach them.

And I have to testify that I am returning myself, following Jesus, is returning me to be a child of God in the ways that Jesus has exemplified.

And I think that everything Jesus offers us in the Gospels, that he first figured out for himself. He figured out that he was born the child of God. He figured out either how to keep himself the child of God and not let man and flesh rip him away from that, or how to return to being child of God, and I suspect the latter.

And when I read verses, even this morning, it hits me, or when I contemplate verses, even this morning, it hits me. He's talking about himself.

This was yesterday, I think. When a merchant of pearls finds a pearl of infinite price, they go and sell everything they have and purchase that pearl. He's talking about himself. When he realized, oh my goodness, I'm the son of God, he rearranged everything he needed to rearrange in his life so that he could return to being that child of God every breath.

And he took the care to show us and tell us how to be the same, how to do the same.

That's what he means by following him. I walk the path of returning to be a child of my father. Follow me on that path to return to be the child of God.
